Re: Question Moore Family (Linda Moore Koontz)
Not related that I know of, but much of my Moore line is unknown. I can get the family back to Cavan Ireland, but the family in America has been hard to track. I know they were in Virginia/West Virginia, Iowa, Nebraska and Washington. I have not been able to find where the Immagrant Family landed and how they got to Virginia/ West Virginia. What records my family had were lost in a fire when I was just about ready to start Kindergarten. I have been able to find some info from relatives but much remains unknown. I never give up looking though and keep finding things on connecting lines. just a few days ago discovered a story about Samuel Eikenberry (to California with the Ikenberry Party in 1849 A history project by Sanford "Sandy" Wilbur)(various spellings) It tells of his trip to California as a Captain of a 65-70 person wagon train from Iowa in 1849. My line is as follows:

George/Edward Moore
Spouse: Sarah/Katherine Mitchell

William Moore
Spouse: Jane Dowler (possibly Dowles unable to verify)

Francis Moore
Spouse: Anna McCormick Ward

Joseph Benson Moore
Spouse: Mary Elisabeth Eikenberry (Daughter of above mentioned Samuel at least 15 various spellings of name)

Samuel Louis Moore
Spouse: Mary Elizabeth Webber

Leo Roy Moore, Sr.
Spouse: Ruby Margaret Foster

Leo Roy Moore, Jr.
Spouse: Irene

I do have some of the kids of both William and Francis, but still have not made to many connections to any other Moore's
