Just got home from one of the best reunions in years. we had a large turn out from all the associated families. Cousin Trish Ginther, and all of her helpers did a wonderful job. great food, fantastic weather. We even got treated to Aunt Ruby's Excellent homemade vanilla ice cream, unfortunately she wasn't able to get what she needed for the homemade rootbeer. We had bingo for those who wanted to play (No money on my part). There was a fish pond game for the kids. It was good seeing all the younger generations stepping in and helping from making name tags( were set up with a color ribbon showing which of the 13 kids you were off of) to setting up tables to calling bingo numbers. Trish and her helpers we working hard to involve as many people as they could and a great time was had by all. I am not sure if they raised enough money for next year but I hope so. if we can keep it fun and interesting more will show up.
