Re: None franz eymann (stefan crombach)
Dear Stefan:

Thanks so much for saying hello. There is no doubt that we are part of the same extended family. It's wonderful to know that -- even at such a geat distance. Your grandpa lived a very long life. How I wish I knew what he likely know of family history. Most of us here descend from Germans who went to Switzerland centuries ago and were Anabaptists who came late in the migration through the Rhine and away from wars and problems. There were only a few around the middle 1700s. Later there were a good number more Eymans who migrated after 1830s -- many from Germany, and some by way of Russia. These days there are sprinklings of Imans all around North America, and even some in South America. Almost always it's not hard to discover relationships. I hope you enjoy the little bits of family history you can gather from this site, and hope you'll share more from your own perspective.

Care and appreciation, Steve Iman
