Although I'm not a member of the Iman family line, I admire your excellent website and timeline. I have a few questions that I hope you can answer; please send your reply to me at reyn.sn@gmail.com Here are the questions: (1) your timeline mentions that "Virginia John" Lincoln was active (perhaps a founding member?) of the Linville/Smith Creek Baptist Church, and that his son Captain Abraham Lincoln was also active in it. Can you refer me to any documents (history books, church records, etc.) that verify the Baptist faith of John and Abraham? Also, even though John's wife, Rebecca Flowers Morris Lincoln, was of Penna. Quaker background, am I right in thinking that she too was active in the Baptist church? Are there any records of that? (2) You indicate that Daniel Boone marked out or surveyed 1,000 acres of land in Kentucky for the Lincolns who moved there. Can you please direct me to any documents or histories that can verify that? Thanks so much for your help! -David S. Reynolds, Professor, CUNY Graduate Center
